About this event

At this time registration is open to Baptist MD Anderson patients only.

Our Lung Cancer Support Group is a place designed for patients to ask questions about their diagnosis and treatment while creating a supportive community for themselves. Come join us in a group that is co-facilitated by a Nurse Navigator and Social Work Counselor who are available to provide medical education and emotional support to empower you on your journey with cancer.

BMDA support groups are meant to be a safe place for individuals to talk about their thoughts and feelings regarding their cancer experience. This is to allow each person to feel respected and protected while being part of the group. Group participants should expect to uphold each other’s privacy, share the group time amongst each other, and listen supportively with respect for one another’s differences.

You can reach them at 904.202.7795 or BMDASupportGroup@bmcjax.com.
